Amazing Tempeh Bowl with Sauteed Greens, Brown Basmati Rice, and Fresh Guacamole

I can’t get enough of this delicious tempeh bowl! It’s so flavorful and it’s packed with nutrients. I love having it after my workouts because it’s so filling! It’s ridiculously easy to make and it’s inexpensive to get all of the ingredients so I hope that you’ll try it soon!

Ingredients:

Vegan

Organic tempeh (I usually get mine from Trader Joe’s)

Organic baby kale, organic spinach, or organic kale/greens of your choice

Organic brown basmati rice or whole grain of your choice

Fresh guacamole (avocado, jalapeno, tomatoes, cilantro, fresh lime juice, salt, pepper)

Instructions:

Marinate the tempeh with marinade of your choice. I like to marinate my tempeh with organic, gluten-free soy sauce, cumin, fresh black pepper, and chili flakes, but you can use what you’d like. Let the tempeh absorb all of the yummy flavors from your marinade and then add water to a pan until it gets hot. Add the tempeh and cook for a few minutes. Taste the tempeh to make sure you like the flavor and add anything that may be lacking. Combine the tempeh with brown basmati rice, sauteed greens, and fresh guacamole in a bowl and enjoy!
