Superfoods Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is so easy to make and I love that it has a chocolatey flavor! It’s very similar to my Chocolate Berry Smoothie, but I add ground flaxseeds and leave the option of adding medjool dates to you. The end result is an amazing Superfoods Smoothie, packed with flavor and nutrients! The raw cacao has magnesium, iron, and antioxidants, while the flaxseeds have tons of omega-3 fatty acids. If you want to cut back on coffee, this is the perfect replacement!

Ingredients:

Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free

1 cup fresh or frozen organic strawberries

1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple

1 ripe banana

1/2 cup fresh or frozen organic blueberries

1/2 cup organic baby spinach

1 heaping tablespoon raw cacao

2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

3/4 cup water or more (depending on the consistency you’d like)

2 medjool dates (optional; use pitted dates and soak for 10 minutes before using)

Add the ingredients to a blender, blend, and enjoy!
